North Korea is marking the second anniversary of the death of leader
Kim Jong-il, days after the dramatic purge of a top-level official.
Images from Pyongyang
showed thousands of officials at a ceremony to commemorate Mr Kim,
presided over by his son and current leader Kim Jong-un.
Meanwhile
thousands of ordinary North Koreans turned out to pay their respects to
their former leaders and reaffirm their loyalty to the current leader.
Lucy Williamson reports from Seoul.
